A burglar alarm siren is a device designed to protect premises from break-ins and thefts. HomeSiren Fibra is a wired indoor siren. The detector notifies of the operation of the system's sensors with a sound volume of up to 105 dB. The home siren supports external LED connection. The HomeSiren Fibra indoor siren works only as part of the Ajax security system. The siren communicates with the alarm control panel (central panel) via the secure Fibra protocol. The communication range is up to 2 kilometers if connected via a U/UTP cat.5 twisted-pair cable. The siren works with the Hub Hybrid alarm central panel. Connection to other control panels, radio signal repeaters, integration modules is not provided.Benefits of using the HomeSiren Fibra indoor siren in a security system
- The Ajax HomeSiren Fibra alarm siren responds to security and tamper alarm in less than a second. The sound of a siren for an indoor installation is enough to attract the attention of neighbors and scare off intruders.
- The duration of the sound and the volume level of the siren can be adjusted in the application: in case of an alarm, the buzzer can be activated from 3 to 180 seconds with a sound volume of 81-105 dB. In the Ajax app, you can choose which security sensors will activate the siren.
- The LED indication of the siren informs that the object is under protection, and by sound informs about entry or exit delays. These functions are used when controlling the security system using keypads and key fobs: the siren reminds you to disarm the alarm at the entrance to the premises.
- The wired siren HomeSiren Fibra, which worked, is not easy to dismantle or turn off: the body of the device is strong, and the buzzer is protected. For additional protection of the siren from opening the case, the device is equipped with a tamper button.
- To transmit events and alarms, the siren uses a two-way wired Fibra data transfer protocol. The technology provides fast and reliable communication between the control panel and devices connected to the system.
