Ajax wireless Grade 3 devices are now INCERT certified in Belgium. The certification confirms that the world's first wireless Grade 3 system complies with local market requirements. This further strengthens Ajax's presence in the professional security market.
What is INCERT
INCERT is a Belgian quality mark for intrusion protection products and services. Its certification is based on European standards, such as EN 50131 and EN 50136, and includes additional requirements relevant to the local security market.
INCERT does not have its own security grading system. The certification is voluntary and applies to both security products and installation companies. Consequently, an INCERT-certified product alone does not make a system compliant: all intrusion devices must also be installed by an INCERT-certified company.
The certification requires ongoing compliance, with the first follow-up inspection within 18 months. This ensures that products on the market match those originally assessed and certified.
What INCERT verifies
INCERT certification involves extensive testing, with particular attention to motion detection, sabotage resistance, and power supply performance. The assessment also covers enclosure durability, communication reliability, response time, and battery life.
Beyond product performance, the certification evaluates user manuals, technical specifications, and installation guides for accuracy and clarity. This ensures that professionals have all the necessary information to properly install and configure each device. Relevant software updates are also reviewed to maintain INCERT compliance.
