Projects for modernizing security systems come in all shapes and sizes, and integration hardware should match. Ajax Systems is expanding its Ajax Superior portfolio with a new Grade 3 integration module offering an optimal balance between compact and high-capacity solutions. Meet Ajax Superior MultiTransmitter (8 inputs) Fibra — a new option for upgrading existing wired systems and expanding Ajax installations with third-party devices.
Here's what makes the new module a practical fit for small and mid-sized integration projects.
Many sites already have detectors installed and cables routed. While some equipment remains functional, it is often outdated. Ajax integration modules offer an option to keep what works and modernize it by integrating existing third-party equipment into the Ajax ecosystem.
Such retrofit projects vary in scale. A single-input Ajax Superior Transmitter Fibra or a compact Ajax Superior MultiTransmitter IO (4X4) Fibra may lack capacity, while an 18-input Ajax Superior MultiTransmitter Fibra can be excessive. Ajax Superior MultiTransmitter (8 inputs) Fibra fills this middle ground. It covers the needs of most retrofit projects without adding unnecessary capacity or functionality.

What's new
Ajax Superior MultiTransmitter (8 inputs) Fibra brings all the familiar capabilities of Ajax integration modules into a new form factor, featuring eight inputs for connecting third-party wired devices. It is compatible with almost any wired hardware — from conventional NC/NO detectors to 3EOL, KeyArm, and roller shutters.

The new model comes as a board and can be installed in a compatible Ajax casing: Case A (106), Case B (175), Case E (395), or Case D (430). This allows installers to tailor the setup to each project and any accompanying equipment.
Unlike higher-capacity models, the new MultiTransmitter is powered directly by the Fibra line. It also supplies 12 V⎓ and up to 0.5 A directly to connected third-party devices. This eliminates the need for a separate power line or an additional backup battery. As a result, installers manage less hardware and wiring, making retrofits cleaner and easier to deploy.

Use cases
Ajax Superior MultiTransmitter (8 inputs) Fibra covers two distinct integration scenarios. In retrofit projects, it connects existing wiring and wired devices to the Ajax ecosystem. Conversely, in new or existing Ajax systems, it integrates third-party devices that are not yet available in the Ajax portfolio.
With eight inputs, the module is a practical fit for small and medium-sized sites. For example, an installer can keep several wired motion, opening, or glass break detectors already installed across a small commercial facility. They are easily integrated into a new Ajax system without replacing the existing infrastructure.
As the Ajax Superior device, the integration module fully complies with EN 50131 (Grade 3) and is suitable for high-security sites, including banks, jewelry stores, and armories. Depending on the project, it can integrate specific third-party equipment such as seismic detectors, panic buttons, roller shutter detectors, or other specialized security hardware. Once connected, these devices become part of the Ajax ecosystem: their states are visible in Ajax apps, settings can be configured remotely, and events can trigger automation scenarios.
