Ajax Systems always strives to provide a fast and flexible experience for PROs. Previously, the company introduced setting templates for video devices. The feature is now also available for hubs and intrusion protection devices.
Installers can preconfigure key settings in the Ajax PRO Desktop app — including SIM APN, entry/exit delays, interconnected fire alarms, and siren volume — and save them as templates. All templates are linked to a company account. On site, an installer simply applies the template via the company account and fine-tunes the remaining settings. This significantly speeds up deployment, especially for typical projects or repeat installations.
Create templates in advance and apply them during installation to save time
Setting templates can be created for the following devices:
- All hub models
- All motion detectors, including curtain-type models
- Combined motion and glass break detectors
- Opening, shock, and tilt detectors
- Sirens
Templates can be created and configured in Ajax PRO Desktop using a company account.

Feature availability
Templates can be created and configured via Ajax PRO Desktop 5.47 (Windows/macOS) or later versions. To apply a template on-site, use Ajax PRO: Tool for Engineers 2.47 (iOS/Android) or later. Currently, templates cannot be applied in Ajax PRO Desktop, but this feature will be introduced in future updates.
