Not all risks are visible. Beyond intrusions, fires, or leaks, an unstable indoor climate can also pose a serious threat. Over time, suboptimal temperature and humidity levels may degrade stored goods, damage equipment, and affect human well-being.
LifeQuality Lite Jeweller, a new addition to the Ajax comfort and automation portfolio, helps keep indoor environments stable and compliant. The device monitors temperature and humidity across a wide range of conditions, from freezers to greenhouses. As part of the Ajax system, it inherits unmatched accuracy, automation capabilities, and intuitive app-based controls.
Standing guard wherever climate control is critical
LifeQuality Lite Jeweller is a temperature and humidity monitor built to maintain stable indoor conditions. While suitable for private use, it is primarily intended for commercial sites focused on storage and compliance. In facilities such as medical freezers, greenhouses, and data centers, a stable climate is not just a matter of comfort — it is a requirement. These conditions are regulated, monitored, and audited, and any deviation must be corrected without delay.
The new Ajax monitor is specifically engineered for these applications. Compared to its predecessor, LifeQuality Lite Jeweller only monitors temperature and humidity, while its operating temperature range and battery performance are optimized for harsher conditions.

Immediate response to threshold events
When the temperature or humidity exceeds defined limits, LifeQuality Lite Jeweller instantly sends notifications with exact time, location, and the triggered device. These events can be delivered as standard notifications or alarms. When configured as alarms, they can also be sent to a monitoring station for immediate professional response.
However, as part of the Ajax ecosystem, the device can take action without waiting for a person to intervene. It can trigger automation scenarios that activate other devices within the system, helping stabilize conditions before fluctuations become a problem.
In an Ajax system, you can combine devices of all product categories: Intrusion protection, Video surveillance, Fire and life safety, or Comfort and automation. Create the system to suit your needs and manage it in a single interface.
Automation scenarios serve as a common language that Ajax devices use to respond to events. In climate control setups, LifeQuality Lite Jeweller can automatically switch on humidifiers, HVAC systems, or other equipment connected via a relay or integration module. As a result, the system restores the set conditions independently — without delays or manual intervention.

Ventilation is automatically activated at higher temperatures
Setting thresholds and configuring automation takes just minutes in Ajax apps. Once set up, the system continuously monitors and maintains conditions at the facility, even if the internet connection is temporarily lost.

Reliable monitoring in any environment
Accuracy to the last detail
When detecting temperature and humidity deviations, LifeQuality Lite Jeweller delivers maximum accuracy using proven sensor technology. Just like the previous model, the monitor is equipped with the SHT40 digital sensor from a Swiss manufacturer. It ensures precise readings down to ±0.36 °F and ±2% humidity.
The durable enclosure supports operation in extreme environments from –22 °F to 122 °F. The device performs reliably in both freezing and high-heat conditions, while a smart ventilation design protects the electronics from moisture and condensation.
Wire-free connection and placement
LifeQuality Lite Jeweller offers complete freedom in placement with no wiring required for power or communication.
The battery-powered design cuts down on installation and maintenance effort. No wiring, no enclosure disassembly, and no impact on the building structure — the device can be mounted or simply placed on a surface. It runs for up to 5 years on a single battery set at room temperature with the LED indication off, and up to 2.5 years at sub-zero temperatures.

Communication is handled via proprietary Ajax technologies: Jeweller is used for data transmission, while Wings enables over-the-air updates. Protected at every stage, these technologies have proven to be more reliable than Wi-Fi, Zigbee, or Z-Wave.
Even if the device temporarily loses connection with the hub, it continues to monitor temperature and humidity. The current climate status remains visible via LED indication. Exact readings are stored for up to 72 hours and automatically synced with the chart once the connection is restored. This ensures continuous monitoring in locations with an unstable power supply or during transportation.
Remote configuration and monitoring with Ajax apps
Ajax apps provide a one-stop platform for system setup and ongoing monitoring — on a smartphone or desktop. To add LifeQuality Lite Jeweller, the installer simply scans the QR code on the enclosure and completes a few quick steps. In no time, the device is ready to detect threshold breaches, send standard or alarm notifications, and trigger automation scenarios.
