Devices compatibility
CheckCommunication
Jeweller communication technology
Proprietary wireless communication technology to transmit commands, alarms, and events.
Key features:
- Two-way communication.
- Advanced anti-sabotage.
- Block encryption featuring a dynamic key.
- Instant notifications.
- Remote control and configuration in Ajax apps.
Frequency bands
866.0 – 866.5 MHz
868.0 – 868.6 MHz
868.7 – 869.2 MHz
905.0 – 926.5 MHz
915.85 – 926.5 MHz
921.0 – 922.0 MHz
Depends on the sales region.
Maximum effective radiated power (ERP)
up to 20 mW
Automatic power control to reduce power consumption and radio interference.
Radio signal modulation
GFSK
Radio communication range
up to 4,200 ft
Between the device and a hub (or a range extender) in an open space.
Encrypted communication
All stored and transmitted data are protected by block encryption featuring a dynamic key.
Frequency hopping
To prevent radio interference and jamming.
Sensitive elements
smoke sensor
heat sensor
Smoke detection
Sensitive element
photoelectric sensor
False alarm prevention
The HazeFlow software algorithm checks for smoke before activating the alarm. The system will ignore the first triggering and raise an alarm if the device detects the smoke again after 30 seconds during the second check.
Dangerous temperature detection
Sensitive element
thermistor
High temperature alarm
at temperatures above 140 °F
Temperature spike alarm
when the temperature rises more than 86 °F in 30 minutes or less
Additional features
Built-in siren
85 dB volume at a distance of 9 ft
Sound notification of alarms. Active until the reason for triggering is eliminated or until the user disables the notification.
Interconnected fire detectors alarm
All fire detectors in the system turn on built-in sirens if at least one detector registers an alarm. An interconnected fire detectors alarm is activated within one “hub–detector” polling interval.
Touch button on the detector’s front panel
In normal mode, pressing the button starts the smoke chamber test. In the case of an alarm or malfunction, pressing the button turns off the detector sound notification.
Recommendations
The device is designed for indoor use only.
Sabotage protection
Tamper alarm
Notifications of attempts to detach the detector from the surface or remove it from the mounting panel.
Protection against spoofing
device authentication
Communication loss detection
after 36 s
Detection time depends on the Jeweller or Jeweller/Fibra settings.
