Ajax introduces a new way to activate Ajax Services: card payment. The feature serves as an alternative to the existing flow, making it more convenient.
Previously, Ajax Services could only be activated through service distributors, with invoices issued at the end of the month. Now, security professionals with system access rights can pay for services directly in Ajax PRO apps using a card. The process is the same as for any online purchase: select a service, enter card details, and activate. If a PRO user is not added to a space, end users can activate the service1 in Ajax apps for users. By the end of the year, PROs will also be able to delegate payment rights to end users if both the user and the professional are added to the same space.
Card payment is currently available for Ajax SIM and Ajax Cloud Storage services.
Feature availability at launch varies by country and role:
Country | Card payment by a PRO | Card payment by an end user |
---|---|---|
Ukraine | + | + |
Italy | + | - |
United Kingdom | + | - |
End-user card payment will only be available in Ukraine at launch. The rollout schedule for other regions will be announced separately.
This card payment method does not replace the distributor-based activation flow but works in parallel with it. Both options are available, allowing professionals to choose the approach that best fits their workflow.
The card payment feature works for all Ajax apps, both mobile and desktop versions:
Ajax PRO: Tool for Engineers | 3.34 and later for Android and iOS |
Ajax Security System | 3.34 and later for Android and iOS |
Ajax Desktop | 5.34 and later for macOS and Windows |
Ajax PRO Desktop | 5.34 and later for macOS and Windows |
Payment by an end user will only be available in specific countries.
