30 students from Ukrainian higher education institutions will visit one of the world's largest technology exhibitions, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), thanks to Ajax Systems. The event will occur on January 6-9 in Las Vegas, USA.
The exhibition will be open to engineering students from all over Ukraine who succeed in an open and competitive selection process. Applications will be accepted from July 28 to August 31 inclusive.
At CES, students can learn about cutting-edge technologies, network with leading industry experts, and develop ideas for their own technical solutions. Ajax Systems implements this project as part of the Ajax Next initiative, which aims to cultivate engineering education in Ukraine and support a new generation of inventors.
When I was at university, we learned about technological innovations from magazines or the Internet. I could only dream of attending global exhibitions such as CES. I went to my first professional security exhibition in Germany at the age of 26, and it was a huge inspiration that helped me find the right career path. We want upcoming Ukrainian engineers to see the global reality not at 26, but at 19. We want them to understand what can be achieved, feel the competition, develop ambitions, and return to Ukraine to realize them. These young people are our future. We will do our best to ensure they are better and faster than us.
Selection criteria
- Age: 18+
- English: no less than B1 (Intermediate)
- Full-time students of Ukrainian higher education institutions of any form of ownership
- Field of knowledge: Natural sciences, Mathematics and Statistics; Information and Communication Technologies; Engineering, Manufacturing and Construction
- Level of education: bachelor or master
Candidates will go through a multi-stage selection process, during which the jury will evaluate their academic results, participation in extracurricular scientific and technical projects, and motivation letters. Student applications will be analyzed anonymously according to a clear set of criteria.

The project is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and IEEE Ukraine. The project’s partners also include leading higher education institutions such as Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Kyiv Aviation Institute, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Lviv Polytechnic National University, and National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, which provide informational support and delegate representatives to the jury to evaluate applications.
