A new fundraiser in the Air Alert app by UNITED24 and Timothy Snyder

The Air Alert app joins UNITED24 and platform ambassador Timothy Snyder’s fundraiser for the Safe Skies air target detection system. From now on, app users can donate to special innovative sensors in two clicks.

Ukraine needs 12,500 sensors for effective defense. To contribute to the fundraising, click on the banner in the Air Alert app, which will direct you to the UNITED24 fundraising platform.

Safe Skies is an innovative sensor system for detecting air targets. Of Ukrainian design, it can even detect targets at very low altitudes and predict their course for further neutralization. AI technology allows the system to anticipate where the following threats may come from.

“The goal of the new fundraiser from UNITED24 and Timothy Snyder is ambitious, and we are pleased to be able to join the integration of such an initiative for the second time. Strengthening air defense through the modern Safe Skies system opens up new opportunities for our application. That will allow us to improve the quality of alerts and inform our users about hazards more accurately.”

Valentin Hrytsenko

Chief Marketing Officer of Ajax Systems

“Last year, we solved the problem of alerting the population about threats. Now, we consider it necessary to help with the detection and protection of the population from Russian missiles and drones. I communicate a lot with the military, and I know that these ‘bugs’ (as they call them) have already helped destroy hundreds of air targets and saved many lives. If they are evenly distributed across the entire territory of Ukraine, it will significantly improve the effectiveness of air defense and mobile fire teams. That is why we are very pleased to join this fundraiser for sensors.”

Fundraising for the Safe Skies system for Ukraine started on 1 November on the UNITED24 platform.

The integration of fundraising into the Air Alert app is being carried out for the second time. The first fundraiser, initiated by Mark Hamill, raised more than UAH 10 million for the Army of Drones project. The funds were used to purchase RQ-35 Heidrun drones.

Support the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and join the new fundraiser in the Air Alert app.

The application was developed by Ajax Systems and Stfalcon with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine. The «Air Alert» application has already been downloaded over 24 million times and is actively used by over 6 million users. It has become a convenient and reliable tool, informing about dangers in Ukraine. Currently, it provides warnings about missile strikes, artillery shelling, street battles, radiation, and chemical threats.
