The new versions of Ajax mobile and desktop apps introduce enhanced control over notifications. Now, users with appropriate system configuration rights can select which notification categories are visible in the event log and which push notifications are delivered to each user.
This update helps users stay focused on relevant events and makes daily monitoring easier. For example, an admin might keep Alarms, Malfunctions, and System events, while a user may be interested only in Alarms and Smart home notifications. At the same time, irrelevant or restricted categories can be hidden to customize the interface to each user's role.
How to set it up
To configure notification categories for a specific user:
- Go to Space settings → Users.
- Select the user you want to adjust.
- Tap Notification settings → View notifications.
- Select only the relevant categories (for example, Alarms, Video, Malfunctions, Armed modes, System events).
- Tap Save.

After notification categories are adjusted, the unchosen categories are hidden and completely disappear from the app's event log — along with their push notifications and tabs.

Together, these changes make event management more focused, ensuring every user sees exactly what they need — and nothing extra.
