One video wall for all spaces: monitor every site in a single view

Keeping track of multiple sites often means switching between separate screens and spaces, closing one video wall to open another. The new multi-space video monitoring feature in desktop Ajax apps removes this limitation. It functions as an independent tool no longer tied to individual spaces. This update enables security professionals to monitor different locations on a single screen — all in real time.

Operators no longer need to switch between different streams. Instead, they can now create layouts in the Video wall section that combine cameras from any spaces they have access to.

For example, a professional can create one layout with all outdoor cameras, another for those in elevators, and one more for different branches of the same chain. Once saved, these layouts — and all cameras within them — are accessible from any space.

This update makes monitoring large or complex facilities significantly more efficient. In a business center, operators can track elevators or exits across multiple floors. At logistics sites or factories spread over wide areas, security teams can build a Perimeter video wall covering fences and outdoor zones. Retail chains can combine cameras from nearby stores into a single view. The same approach works well for gas stations and other geographically distributed networks.

When operators open the Video wall section, the last used layout is displayed. If a monitoring session ends with the Outdoor view, the next one resumes there — ensuring surveillance continues exactly from where it was left off.

The updated Navigation bar offers more flexibility in managing cameras. All spaces available to the operator appear in the sidebar, where they can open a specific space and add selected cameras to a layout. Entire spaces can also be dragged in, adding all the cameras at once for even greater convenience.

Additionally, the Navigation bar provides a search feature that allows operators to find spaces by name or hub ID. Within a space, cameras can be searched by name and sorted by group, NVR, or room.

Now, security professionals can arrange cameras using custom templates and create slideshow layouts for even smoother workflow and awareness.
