Ajax Systems equipped shelter in Lviv with an automatic door opening system

Thanks to Ajax Systems, Lviv now has a shelter where the doors automatically open during an air raid alarm. The shelter is located at Gorodotska Street and can accommodate up to 300 people. It has been operational for the first time in more than 60 years. It became the first project of a renovated shelter that the Ajax Systems team implemented in cooperation with the mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyi.

In the case of an air alarm, the signal from the Air Alert app is sent to the Hub Hybrid (4G) control panel, which unlocks the automatic locks and disarms the shelter.

In addition, Ajax Systems has equipped the shelters with Button panic buttons for emergencies free of charge. The Department of the State Protection of Ukraine will receive the signal from these buttons.

«This shelter is the first of five we will open by the end of this year in Lviv. It is a standard of what a comfortable and, most importantly, safe bomb shelter should look like. Automatic locks will open it during an alarm and close it when it is over. We thank our friends who helped make Lviv safer».

Andriy Sadovyi

Lviv mayor

«We have been actively cooperating with the Regional Military Administration and Amalgamated Territorial Communities since the first days of the full-scale war. Then, the protection of civilians became our new and essential vector of work.

When the problem of shelter availability arose, we started implementing professional solutions based on the Ajax system. After the successful project to equip a Kyiv shelter with an automatic opening system, other regional military administrations approached us, and we began actively working on these projects».

Lesia Popadiuk

Head of Project Solutions at Ajax Systems, member of the working group on the modernization and creation of centralized alert systems in the Kyiv region

Ajax Systems implemented a pilot project to equip a shelter with an automatic door-opening system in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv. After successfully completing the test, the company started developing solutions for the rest of the shelters in the capital.

The Ajax Systems team is open to communication and cooperation with other Regional Military Administrations. Currently, civilian protection projects in Rivne, Zakarpattia, and Dnipro regions are at various stages of implementation.

Thanks to systematic cooperation with local authorities, Ajax Systems implemented projects to equip public and private facilities with sirens where public address systems are not available.
