Updates for SpeakerPhone Jeweller: new features for installation flexibility and efficient alarm response

Ajax has recently enhanced its SpeakerPhone Jeweller voice modules with new features. These updates offer greater installation flexibility and help monitoring companies assess the on-site situation and respond to alarms more efficiently.

With the release of OS Malevich 2.27, installers can now add up to ten SpeakerPhone Jeweller voice modules to a single system. In this case, a central monitoring station (CMS) operator calls the voice module when a detector in the same room or security group is triggered. The operator can switch between voice modules using DTMF (Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency) commands. Alternatively, the operator can use Broadcast mode to transmit their message to all modules simultaneously. These features ensure maximum situational awareness for operators and guarantee that anyone on-site receives the call, regardless of location.

Additionally, the update streamlines communication during calls. Operators can now adjust the speaker volume directly in the Ajax app interface. For example, if the module is installed near an entrance, the speaker can be set to a lower volume but increased during a call if no one responds.

New updates for Ajax mobile and desktop apps have introduced another significant feature, telephony templates, for faster and more efficient setups. In the PRO Desktop app, installers can select company settings, including its name, IP address, server details, and connection type, and save them as a template. They can set up several templates, for instance, for specific facility types. Then, during SpeakerPhone Jeweller setup, installers can choose the desired template in their mobile Ajax apps to complete configuration faster.
