Video monitoring and visual alarm verification
Instantly verify alarms, access camera footage, and manage video surveillance — all directly in your monitoring software. Easy setup, seamless integration.
Flexible connection. Powerful possibilities.
Professional monitoring with Ajax goes far beyond basic alarm and event transmission — it offers monitoring stations a reliable way to receive visual alarm verification. They get a series of photos when an alarm is triggered by Ajax cameras or motion detectors. Operators can also access live video streams from selected or all cameras in the system. The setup is easy to scale with intrusion protection, fire safety, and other security or automation solutions.
Ajax supports a wide range of protocols, ensuring quick integration with the world's leading monitoring platforms. For monitoring stations without compatible software, Ajax Systems offers custom end-to-end integrations upon request. Additionally, the proprietary Ajax PRO Desktop app and cloud-based services can meet the needs of any monitoring business.
Compatible monitoring software
Ajax is global — and so is its monitoring integration. Check whether your preferred software is already supported.
More than alarm monitoring
Ajax devices notify monitoring companies about on-site events in real time. Each notification includes key details: timestamp, event type, device name, and location.
In addition, the Ajax Photo Mode service enables the transmission of a series of photos1 to monitoring software when Ajax video devices detect motion. The same functionality is available by default to all MotionCam detectors.
These features help reduce false dispatches by giving operators a clear view of what triggered the alarm.
Events2 from MotionCam detectors and cameras triggered by AI-recognized objects or motion

Ajax video devices and MotionCam detectors enhance security by adding visual context to system events.
When any device in the system detects suspicious activity — such as opening doors, breaking glass, leaking water, or signs of fire — it can trigger a scenario. In response, Ajax video devices and MotionCam detectors send a series of photos to the monitoring station for visual verification.
Operators can then assess the situation in real time to determine whether immediate action is required.

The option to access video footage directly from event notifications is critical when it comes to verifying alarms without delay.
When an Ajax video device detects motion or an object, the system immediately sends an alarm notification to the monitoring software — along with a link to the footage. Operators simply clicks the link and assesses the situation visually, either in a browser or via the Ajax PRO Desktop interface. They can access both the live feed and archived footage. Meanwhile, scrolling through the archive timeline helps to see how the event unfolded. This enables informed decision-making and swift response.

Ajax video devices integration via ONVIF/RTSP
Ajax video devices support ONVIF/RTSP authorization, enabling them to integrate directly with third-party video surveillance systems — including major video management systems (VMSs). This integration preserves the full functionality of the Ajax ecosystem.
With ONVIF authorization, Ajax cameras and NVRs can now stream video directly to third-party clients via the standard ONVIF protocol, bypassing Ajax Cloud.

Add value, grow revenue — with Ajax Services
Deliver premium benefits by offering paid Ajax Services. They require little to no effort from businesses, yet significantly enhance the security experience for end users. Ensure stable system connectivity, secure video storage, and informed alarm response – all while creating a steady revenue stream for the business.
Ajax SIM: stable connection with no effort
Ajax SIM provides instant and reliable cellular communication right out of the box. No complicated setup, no tricky activation — the SIM card does almost everything on its own. Unlimited traffic and reliable connection are available from the very first minute of operation.

Ajax Cloud Storage: smart archive for enhanced security
Critical footage won't go missing. Ajax Cloud Storage keeps event-based recordings protected and accessible, even if local storage is compromised. Various subscription plans are meant to suit different security needs.

Ajax Ultra DP: dual-path reliability with ready-to-use presets
Ajax Ultra DP offers a simple way to configure compliant dual-path alarm transmission (DP2, DP3, or DP4). It complements Ajax SIM to deliver reliable and uninterrupted system operation from the very start. All is up and running within minutes thanks to quick and intuitive in-app setup.

Ajax Photo Mode: instant alarm verification for informed response
With Ajax Photo Mode, Ajax video devices automatically send a series of photos to monitoring stations the moment motion is detected. There is no need to search through footage or switch between tools. For professionals, this optimizes operations and reduces response time.

Sending a series of photos from Ajax video surveillance devices to third-party monitoring software in response to AI object recognition or motion detection is available as a separate service. Learn more about Ajax Photo Mode.
Ajax video surveillance devices send real-time event notifications to monitoring stations regardless of whether the Ajax Photo Mode service is activated.
Ajax video devices can capture photos in response to alarms triggered by other system devices. MotionCam detectors support various types of photo verification depending on the model — by alarm, scenario, schedule, tamper alarm, masking, arming/disarming, or on demand. For details, refer to the article.
The time required to deliver photos from Ajax video devices and MotionCam detectors to an Ajax hub depends on the number of images and resolution selected in the device settings. The delivery time from the hub to the monitoring software depends on internet speed.
