Ajax electric valves can be monitored and controlled via Ajax apps as long as there’s an internet connection. The valves can be set for an automation scenario to stop the water supply in case of a security mode change or leak detector triggering. They will shut water off in 7 seconds, whether it’s an alarm, a command, or an automation scenario. As a result, a combination of control and automation reliably protects the facility from flooding.

They can be installed on cold and hot water pipes of the most common sizes and protect both residential to business facilities. Also, the devices can withstand overcurrent and notify of overheating, while their electric actuator is powerful enough to shut water off even with a stuck-up valve.
Years of stable performance
Ajax electric valves operate on pre-installed batteries for up to 3 years and do not require additional power supply. When the battery runs low, Ajax apps will send a notification beforehand. In case the device is installed in a place with extreme temperatures or a constant shut-off valve operation is required, there’s an option to connect a 9–12 V⎓ power supply. At this point, pre-installed batteries can serve as a backup power source.
