In an Ajax system, you can combine devices of all product categories: Intrusion protection (both Superior and Baseline), Video surveillance, Fire and life safety, or Comfort and automation. Create the system to suit your needs and manage it in a single interface.
Ready to last in any setting
One device, three missions
With KeyPad Outdoor Jeweller, security management is always within reach. The keypad can control the entire facility or specific groups and supports Night mode. Additionally, the device can operate in bypass mode, activating an entry/exit delay before the system is disarmed using the main keypad.

KeyPad Outdoor Jeweller offers convenient control of automation devices, including switches, relays, outlets, and shut-off valves. With a single press of the OK button, the system can automatically close garage doors or turn off outdoor lights upon arming — and restore them upon disarming. The backlit buttons indicate automation device status2: green for on, red for off.

The keypad’s backlit digits remain clearly visible at all times. The built-in buzzer provides notifications of alarms, doors being opened (Chime), arming/disarming, and entry/exit delays. LED brightness and buzzer volume can be adjusted via Ajax apps.

Fast and secure authentication
KeyPad Outdoor Jeweller supports multiple authentication methods — Pass and Tag access devices, smartphones, and codes — providing maximum convenience for any use case. All events, including user activity and authentication details, are logged and can be viewed in Ajax apps.
Pass card and Tag key fob
Pass and Tag are the perfect solution for contactless system control at sites with high in-and-out traffic. These devices eliminate the need to remember passcodes or repeatedly set up app accounts. Instead, construction workers, office staff, or cleaning personnel simply present a card or key fob to the keypad’s reader.

Smartphone
KeyPad Outdoor Jeweller supports authentication via smartphones thanks to the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology. If granted access rights, users can arm or disarm the system simply by bringing their smartphone near the keypad — no passcodes, no access devices, no hassle.

Passcode
KeyPad Outdoor Jeweller supports multiple types of access codes — general, for registered users, for unregistered users, and for rapid response units (RRU) — to meet a broad range of user- or site-specific needs.

Contactless access devices
Both Pass cards and Tag key fobs feature original DESFire® chips and provide identical functionality in different form factors. A single access device can control up to 13 security systems. Pass and Tag devices are sold separately in batches of 3, 10, or 100 units.

Remote access control
Access rights and codes for KeyPad Outdoor Jeweller are easily managed via Ajax apps. Lost access devices or compromised codes can be handled remotely in just a few clicks — no need to visit the site.

Access codes for unregistered users
KeyPad Outdoor Jeweller supports up to 99 codes for users without Ajax accounts, depending on a hub model. Configurable in the hub settings, these codes are ideal for granting access to verified temporary visitors, such as office staff or cleaning personnel.

The security company dispatches a rapid response unit
KeyPad Outdoor Jeweller features a configurable function button that can act as a panic button. When pressed, it sends an alarm alert to the monitoring station and system users via Ajax apps. The button can also trigger sirens and automation scenarios, such as activating a smoke machine to deter intruders.
The keypad also supports duress codes to enhance personal safety during emergencies. If a user is forced to disarm the system, entering a duress code simulates normal disarming, while discreetly alerting the monitoring station and other users to the situation.

Reliable performance
KeyPad Outdoor Jeweller runs on pre-installed CR123A batteries from trusted manufacturers. The batteries are tested in real time during production, and Ajax Systems inspects every unit to ensure it meets performance parameters. The batteries provide up to 2 years of autonomous operation and are easily replaceable. Battery status is always visible in Ajax apps with early low-battery notifications helping users and monitoring companies plan maintenance in advance.
The keypad also supports connection to a 12 V⎓ external power supply unit. In this case, the pre-installed batteries serve as a backup, keeping the device operational even during power outages.

Jeweller
Unique wireless technology
Jeweller is Ajax’s proprietary radio protocol for secure two-way communication. It provides block encryption and device authentication during each communication session with an Ajax hub or radio signal range extender. Jeweller prevents sabotage, spoofing, and data theft.
Up to 5,550 ft of communication range in an open space
Data encryption
Notification of jamming and connection loss
Automatic power adjustment
Communication through steel and concrete
Some facilities have thick walls, metal partitions, or sheer distances that affect signal quality. Ajax range extenders are designed to increase the range of a wireless network and deliver stable connection with a hub despite the obstacles. And by choosing the model with an Ethernet cable connector, you get an additional communication channel. А single system can accommodate up to five range extenders.

Advanced system supervision
As part of the Ajax ecosystem, KeyPad Outdoor Jeweller is constantly supervised. The keypad performs automatic self-diagnosis and regularly reports key parameters to the hub. It maintains two-way communication with Ajax Cloud, which delivers data to Ajax apps. In the event of a malfunction or communication failure, the monitoring station is immediately notified to arrange necessary maintenance.
Automatic device self-diagnosis with state reporting
Customizable ping interval in the hub settings
Instant maintenance notifications

Sabotage resistance
Hassle-free installation and setup
Installing KeyPad Outdoor Jeweller is a breeze. With the SmartBracket mounting panel, there is no need to disassemble the enclosure — an installer can easily mount the device on the wall. The keypad is then added to the hub automatically by scanning the QR code. All configuration and testing can be done remotely via Ajax apps.

When the keypad runs a scenario involving multiple automation devices, the OK button cannot indicate the state of the device or scenario via LED. Instead, the keypad confirms the action with a short buzzer beep.
