When installed at a height of 2.6–4.3 ft. Adjusted separately for each side using sliders on the detector rear panel.
Viewing angles
horizontal — 4.5° vertical — 90°
Motion detection speed
1–6.6 ft/s
The direction of the detector lens should be perpendicular to the intended path of entry into the facility.
Near zone detection
When enabled, the detector's upper IR sensor receives an additional sector of view, directed at an angle of 40° downward of the main sector. This is necessary to detect motion near the detector and reduce blind spot. Adjusted separately for each side using sliders on the detector rear panel.
When enabled, the optical system viewing angle can be shifted by 3° in the horizontal plane. Adjusted separately for each side using sliders on the detector rear panel.
Effective motion detection at temperatures from −13°F to 140°F.
Recommendations
The detector is installed at a height of 2.6–4.3 ft from ground level when used to protect doors, arches, other passages, or the area in front of windows. Otherwise, if the detector is used to protect windows, it is installed at a height of 1.64–2 ft from the window sill.
Anti-sabotage protection
Tampering alarm
Alerts of attempts to detach the detector from the surface or remove the mounting panel.
