Superior StreetSiren Plus Jeweller deters intruders and promptly notifies of fire, water leaks, or other alarms. Installers can choose a specific device or group to activate the sound and LED indication. Alarm volume and duration³ can be adjusted remotely in the app. If necessary, the sound can be entirely muted so that only LED indication notifies of alarms.

Indicates delays

The siren can be configured to indicate delays when entering or leaving. When this feature is enabled, the built-in LED frame and sound remind users to arm or disarm the system. This feature helps minimize false alarms caused by human error or forgetfulness.

Indicates a security mode

The LED frame can light up to indicate that the security mode has been changed. Also, the LED frame can remain on to prevent unwanted tracking. This feature is especially helpful for users managing a security system via a keypad or key fob. Sound indication can also be enabled to confirm changes in the security mode.

Notifies of doors being opened

Superior StreetSiren Plus Jeweller provides the Chime feature, which allows the siren to play a specific sound when opening detectors¹ are triggered while the system is disarmed. This feature is ideal for commercial areas such as stores, as it instantly alerts employees when new clients enter.

Provides after-alarm indication

Until the system is disarmed, the siren’s LED frame can signal confirmed and unconfirmed alarms, as well as the lid being opened. This ensures that the passing patrols are aware of an incident and can respond accordingly.

Superior StreetSiren Plus Jeweller adapts seamlessly to both quiet residential areas and noisy industrial environments. The siren offers two sound patterns, namely Regular and NFA2P-compliant, and adjustable volume ranging from 85 to 107 dB⁴. The alarm duration can be set³ from 3 seconds to 3 minutes. Alternatively, the siren can operate silently, using only the LED frame to signal alerts. In Ajax apps, installers can configure which detectors activate the siren, avoiding unnecessary alerts.

In addition to real-time testing during battery production, Ajax Systems inspects every unit to ensure the accuracy of the batteries’ characteristics. The batteries provide stable performance at temperatures from –13 °F to 140 °F.

Jeweller is Ajax’s proprietary radio protocol for secure two-way communication. It provides block encryption and device authentication during each communication session with an Ajax hub or radio signal range extender. Jeweller prevents sabotage, spoofing, and data theft.

Some facilities have thick walls, metal partitions, or sheer distances that affect signal quality. Ajax range extenders are designed to increase the range of a wireless network and deliver stable connection with a hub despite the obstacles. And by choosing the model with an Ethernet cable connector, you get an additional communication channel. А single system can accommodate up to five range extenders.

All Ajax devices perform automatic self-diagnosis and report their states to the hub. Essential parameters, including tamper, communication, power supply, and sensor statuses, are continuously monitored. The Ajax Cloud server controls communication between the hub and Ajax apps, ensuring instant notifications for CMSs, security companies, and users. In case of any malfunction or communication failure, an engineer is informed immediately to provide necessary services.

The device is equipped with two tampers. The first tamper triggers when SmartBracket is unlocked. The second tamper triggers if an attempt to detach the siren from the surface or SmartBracket is detected.

Data encryption

All data the system stores and transmits is protected by block encryption featuring a dynamic key. This encryption deters intentional sabotage attempts on the detector.

Data-rich notifications

An Ajax system instantly delivers informative notifications of alarms and events. Security companies and users receive precise details about the incident, including the triggered device, along with the time and location.

Device authentication against spoofing

The hub checks the siren’s unique parameters for authentication during each communication session. If any parameter fails the check, the hub ignores device commands.

Regular polling

The siren regularly exchanges data with the hub. The system controls each device state and reports if there is a malfunction or connection loss.

Connection loss detection

With minimal polling interval settings (3 data packages in 12 seconds), it takes 36 seconds to identify connection loss and notify the security company and users of the incident.

Protected enclosure

The siren enclosure is designed to minimize the impact of vandals and the environment on its operation. A dense enclosure with special sealing bands and sealant provides weather protection and is certified with an IP54 rating. Durable plastic and metal grating ensure additional protection. Secure mounting prevents the siren from being detached from the wall.

Jamming detection

Superior StreetSiren Plus Jeweller features a radio interference detection algorithm. When a potential jamming attempt occurs, the algorithm detects a sudden increase or decrease in the noise level. It takes into account not only the amplitude of the noise but also the duration over time.

Effortless installation and setup

Superior StreetSiren Plus Jeweller is ready to operate out of the box. Installers can use the SmartBracket panel to mount the siren, eliminating the need to disassemble the enclosure.
