All communicators built in

All communicators built in

Type4 Hub (4G) Jeweller comes fully equipped with all necessary communicators — no need to install additional modules. This ensures seamless connectivity between the central unit and all system devices, including sounders, VADs, I/O modules, and manual call points. When a manual call point is pressed, the alarm is passed to the sounders and VADs in just 3 seconds. At the same time, the fire alarm event is sent to the monitoring station via Ethernet or 4G (LTE).

Communication between the central unit and system devices

Jeweller communication protocol

Transmits the real-time device states, alarms, events, and measured readings to Ajax apps.

  • Wireless range of up to 1,800 m in open space
  • Encrypted two-way radio communication
  • Notifications of jamming or connection loss
  • Automatic data packet reload in case of transmission errors

Communication with Ajax server and apps

The central unit can be connected to four internet providers simultaneously. Ethernet/Wi-Fi serves as the primary channel, while two SIM cards with 2G/4G (LTE) support act as backups. If the primary connection is lost, the device automatically switches to the SIM with the strongest signal — all within seconds.

Quick installation and setup

Ajax Systems redefines how effortless and fast a fire alarm installation can be in an industry known for its complexity. Type4 Hub (4G) Jeweller comes ready to operate right out of the box. The central unit installs in minutes without disassembling the enclosure. All system devices are added and configured via mobile or desktop Ajax apps. Getting started is as efficient as it gets: there's no need to program complex logic manually — the system is configured through human-readable text and an intuitive, self-explanatory interface.

The central unit is easily mounted on the SmartBracket panel — no enclosure disassembly required. The installation kit includes all necessary fasteners, allowing an installer to mount the device on the wall in minutes.

Safety without obstacles

Type4 Line suits a wide range of facilities — from small restaurants to schools and municipal buildings. With a wireless communication range of up to 1,800 m between the central unit and system devices, this solution is meant to deliver reliable performance even across large premises.

To expand coverage even further, Type4 ReX Jeweller wireless range extender is available. It connects wirelessly to the central unit. Up to 5 range extenders can operate within a single Ajax system, effectively doubling the network size. It's the perfect solution for multi-story buildings or facilities with thick walls, allowing devices to operate at greater distances without compromising reliability.

  • Communication range of up to 1,800 m between the central unit and devices
  • Up to 35 km2 of coverage with 5 range extenders per central unit
  • Support for any device combinations within central unit limits

Immunity to lags, freezing, and viruses

Type4 Hub (4G) Jeweller runs on OS Malevich, a real-time operating system developed by Ajax Systems. The system is immune to viruses, resistant to cyberattacks, and extremely reliable. Loading and executing actions takes less than a second from tapping on a smartphone.

The operating system can be automatically updated via the internet. The central unit also transmits updates to other connected devices. Each update enhances the overall system performance and adds new features, so Ajax devices evolve and remain relevant for years.

Advanced system supervision

All Ajax devices perform automatic self-diagnosis and report their states to the central unit. Essential parameters, including tamper, communication, power supply, and sensor statuses, are continuously monitored. The Ajax Cloud server controls communication between the central unit and Ajax apps, ensuring instant notifications for monitoring stations, security companies, and users. In case of any fault or communication failure, everyone is informed immediately to request necessary services.

Automatic self-diagnosis and state reports

Regular polling to display current device states in apps

Sabotage resistance

Device authentication against spoofing

Device authentication against spoofing

The central unit automatically verifies each device's unique parameters during every communication session. If any parameter fails authentication, the central unit ignores all commands from that device.

Communication failure detection in 36 s

Communication failure detection in 36 s

Each system device regularly exchanges data with the central unit and can send three data packets as often as every 12 seconds. If the connection is lost, the system detects it in only 36 seconds and notifies the security company and users about the incident.

Informative push notifications

Informative push notifications

In case of an alarm, the system instantly notifies users via Ajax apps with critical alerts that include alarm type, device name, facility name, and room. Each detector-triggered alarm is also assigned a code, enabling monitoring companies to identify it quickly.

Tamper alarm

Tamper alarm

The central unit features a tamper button that triggers an alarm if the device is detached from the surface or removed from the mounting panel.

Data encryption

Data encryption

All data stored and transmitted by the system is protected with block cipher encryption featuring a dynamic key. This makes it virtually impossible to reprogram the device, substitute, or steal the data.

Jamming detection and frequency hopping

Jamming detection and frequency hopping

The central unit constantly monitors the quality of wireless communication with system devices. If data packets are lost, it automatically switches to a different frequency within the band and reports the interference. Both the security company and users are notified about jamming attempts.
