Type4 ManualCallPoint Jeweller features a thoughtful and reliable button-press mechanism. A minor failure can be crucial in a critical situation. The mechanism is simplified to several solid parts. Thus, the button cannot get stuck or fail to activate physically, and the possibility of failure in emergencies is reduced.
The button is designed for more than 500 presses throughout its lifecycle. If the button has triggered once, it will reliably continue to do so. Ajax rigorously tests 100% of the production during manufacturing. If the button passes testing upon installation, it will definitely raise an alarm when needed.

Unique wireless technology
When every second counts, there's no room for delays or a dropped connection. That's why Type4 ManualCallPoint Jeweller uses the onboard Jeweller two-way radio communication protocol. This proprietary Ajax technology goes beyond the standard and helps activate sounders and VADs in as little as three seconds after a fire alarm is triggered by pressing Type4 ManualCallPoint Jeweller.
The device maintains a stable connection to the central unit at a distance1 of up to 1,700 m out of the box — no external communicators required. For sites with obstacles, a Type4 range extender can double the coverage or use an Ethernet connection to create a separate radio network.

The device operates for up to seven years on the pre-installed batteries. When the time comes, the Ajax system will notify you in advance about the need for battery replacement.

Type4 ManualCallPoint Jeweller is ready to operate straight out of the box. There is no need to disassemble the button during installation. Ajax apps help quickly integrate the device into the ecosystem. The parameters from a device profile are always up-to-date and instantly available via Ajax apps. All settings are configured via toggles in an intuitive interface, eliminating the risk of human error.
The button does not require regular manual testing. A self-test system automatically reports the device's state to the central unit. A key for after-press reset is included in the complete set.
Adding the device to a system takes just a QR code scan. All setup, connection checks, and coverage tests are handled in Ajax PRO apps — no complex configuration or programming required.
SmartBracket mounting panel with pre-marked fixing points eliminates the need to disassemble the enclosure. For added security, the complete set includes a special tool to help prevent unauthorized removal.
