About the product

Elotec HydroGuard is a valve controller integrated with an Ajax system for manual, remote, or automatic water shut-off. This solution makes anti-flood security more affordable since it does not require costly valve replacement.

Behind Elotec HydroGuard is a simple installation process. The device is mounted on top of an existing ball valve with a 90-degree handle. HydroGuard comes with a mechanical arm that is attached to the valve handle. The arm moves the lever to open or close the valve. The controller’s thought-out design makes it easy to adjust the device on top of a valve without any special tools or plumbing adjustments.

The integration with an Ajax system requires installing any model of an Ajax hub. HydroGuard is equipped with Relay Jeweller, allowing users to open and close valves not only manually using the valve handle but also via Ajax apps or the control button on the valve casing. The valve also works in combination with the LeaksProtect Jeweller detector if an automation scenario is set up. If the detector signals about a leak, HydroGuard automatically shuts the water off, and users can see a push notification about the incident in Ajax apps. The solution allows for fast leak detection and prevents severe damage to the belongings and the site.

Elotec HydroGuard HGE1 is tested and certified at the SINTEF laboratory according to the Guidelines for active leakage detectors.
