Keypads: elevating Ajax system management

Ajax keypads designed for security and automation devices’ management

Convenient Ajax system control

Keypads are designed to control an Ajax system. You can quickly arm and disarm the system and manage one or more automation devices. Each keypad features a button that can operate as a panic button and trigger alarms. After the button is pressed, the system sends an alarm to the CMS and all users and activates sirens.

Versatile authentication and remote security control

Ajax keypads offer different authentication methods, including Tag key fobs, Pass cards, smartphones, and personal codes1. Access rights, codes, and devices are managed in Ajax apps. If a code or device is compromised or a user needs to be removed, settings can be changed remotely without the need for site visits.

Autonomy and safe communication

Ajax offers an extensive communication range, enabling keypad integration across large facilities. Wireless devices communicate with a hub at a distance of up to 1,700 m in an open space, while wired models extend the range to 2,000 m. The wireless keypads run on pre-installed batteries with a lifespan of up to 4.5 years2 with minimal maintenance requirements. On the other hand, wired devices consume minimum power for energy-efficient operation.

Complex sabotage protection

The event log is available in Ajax apps, clearly showing who changed the security mode, when, and how. Keypads support a duress code. The panic button instantly alerts CMS and users during emergencies. Other device protection features include data encryption, protection against code guessing, and alarms when unauthorized third-party access devices are used. The system also has protocol-level protection against spoofing.
