Transportation requirements

For air transportation, lithium batteries must be charged to no more than 30% of their rated capacity. The shipping voltage complies with this requirement.

For other types of transportation, the battery must be handled in accordance with applicable regulations and carrier requirements.

Cautions

Do not expose the battery to open flames, sparks, or any other ignition source.

Do not short the power terminals.

Do not disassemble or deform the battery.

Avoid excessive mechanical impact or vibration.

Use the battery only with compatible devices.

The hub does not charge this battery. Charge the battery using a dedicated external charger. Recharge the battery every six months during storage.

Secure the battery in the casing using the hook-and-loop fastener (included in the Case D (430) and Case E (395) complete sets).
