Superior ReX G3 Jeweller extends the wireless network, ensuring stable communication between an Ajax hub and connected devices across large facilities. The range extender connects to the hub via radio protocols or Ethernet. A single system can include up to five range extenders, each supporting any device combination. Superior Jeweller and TurboWings deliver up to 11,450 ft of radio network coverage in open space. Hot-swappable batteries, available in two versions, provide up to 16 or 60 hours of backup power.

Alarm visual verification
The range extender works with wireless MotionCam detectors, which take a series of photos when triggered. By default, the first photo is delivered to an Ajax app within just ХХ seconds. This helps users quickly assess the situation at the facility and respond appropriately to the threat.
Communication via Ethernet
In a challenging radio signal environment, the range extender connects to the hub via Ethernet, using it as the only or prioritized communication channel. Thus, a single Ajax system can cover an office center with underground parking, a metal hangar, or a multi-building warehouse.
The device supports the ExternalAntenna connection1 to improve radio communication.

Ajax systems use secure two-way communication powered by proprietary radio protocols. Superior Jeweller delivers Grade 3 level reliability with strong encryption, advanced frequency hopping, and outstanding energy efficiency. TurboWings complements it by transmitting visual data and updates, ensuring that devices always have the latest firmware. It is also used as a backup communication channel that transmits large data packets in case of connection loss and sends data backups from the detector to the hub after the connection is restored.

Main power supply
The range extender features a built-in PSU that is directly connected to a 110–240 V, 50/60 Hz mains supply.
Backup battery
The range extender has a compartment for a backup battery2 providing up to 16 or 60 hours of autonomous operation. The battery can be hot-swapped at any time without powering down the device.

OS Malevich: immunity to lags, freezing, and viruses
The range extender runs on the real-time proprietary OS Malevich operating system. It's immune to viruses, resistant to cyberattacks, and extremely reliable. The operating system can be automatically updated via the internet. Using the TurboWings communication protocol, the range extender also transmits updates to other connected devices.

Polling interval is configured in an Ajax app. The minimum interval is 12 seconds.
If the polling interval is set so that the device sends three data packets as often as every 12 seconds.
