FAQ
Can DoorBell operate without an external power supply?
DoorBell is designed to operate only with an external power supply.
However, DoorBell has a built-in rechargeable battery that can provide a backup power supply for short periods in case of power outages. The battery life mostly depends on the deviceʼs ambient temperature, IR illumination activation, recording preferences, etc.
What is the electrical polarity of the DoorBell terminals for connecting the external power supply?
As DoorBell can be powered by either a DC (12-24 V⎓) or AC (16-24 V~, 50/60 Hz) power supply, the polarity of the terminals can be any. The device detects the positive and negative terminals of the power supply and automatically adjusts for proper operation.
Does DoorBell have a built-in memory or a slot for a microSD memory card?
DoorBell does not have a built-in memory or a slot for a microSD memory card.
