What is Smoke Sensor Self Test
Test is available at menu:
Ajax app → Devices
→ FireProtect / FireProtect Plus → Settings
→ Smoke Sensor Self Test
Detector and smoke chamber test. As a result, the Ajax application will receive a notification specifying whether the detector and its smoke chamber are OK and whether cleaning is required.
The test allows you to determine the status of the detector and its chamber at the current moment in time. The detector automatically performs self-testing once a day. Therefore, in any case, the user will be notified of a malfunction.
How can the loop (zone) number of the detector or Ajax device be determined
The loop (zone) number is required to describe all devices connected to the hub when adding a protected facility to the security company monitoring station.
The number is assigned when adding a device to the hub. The first added device has the first loop (zone) number. After removing the device from the system, its number becomes available. This number can be assigned to the next device to be added to the system.
