How to set up automatic water shutoff upon a leakage detector alarm
In the Ajax app:
Select a hub if you have several of them or if you are using the PRO app.
Go to the Devices
menu.
Select Ajax WaterStop in the list.
Go to its settings by clicking on the gear icon
.
Go to the Scenarios menu.
Create a scenario following the prompts of the app.
Can you install Ajax WaterStop outdoors
Ajax WaterStop is designed for indoor installation only. Installing the device outdoors may cause it to fail.
Why do you need an alternative (anti-sabotage) locker
An alternative (anti-sabotage) locker is installed instead of the standard one. This locker cannot be removed from Ajax WaterStop without tools. It securely fixes the electric actuator on the shutoff valve and protects the electric actuator against unauthorized dismantling.
This locker is used, for example, when installing the device in cafes, restaurants, hotels, factories, or places with public access.
Regardless of the locker selected, the Ajax WaterStop tamper will notify users and the monitoring company that the tamper has triggered during an attempt to remove the electric actuator from the ball valve.
