Devices supporting the Superior Jeweller protocol

Superior Jeweller is an upgraded protocol for Ajax Superior devices that improves radio communication between the hub and devices. It delivers advanced protection, extended communication range, and enhanced system capabilities.

Superior Jeweller capabilities

The Superior Jeweller technology provides Grade 3 reliability for Ajax systems with compatible devices and extends the radio communication range1 up to 11,450 ft. The protocol strengthens radio communication between Ajax Superior devices by combining advanced encryption and enhanced frequency hopping.

Advanced encryption in Superior Jeweller protects data exchanged between the hub and devices to ensure secure communication within the system. It remains active regardless of the system configuration.

Frequency hopping is a radio communication method that automatically switches between frequencies to maintain a stable connection and prevent interception and jamming. Full frequency hopping is available only when all devices in the system support Superior Jeweller. If at least one device uses the regular Jeweller protocol, the system is limited to Grade 2: encryption remains active, but frequency hopping is disabled.

Superior Jeweller enables the multisiren feature, so the number of sirens is limited only by the system's total capacity. For example, with Ajax Superior MegaHub that uses Superior Jeweller and supports up to 999 devices, it is possible to add up to 999 sirens supporting the feature.

The maximum radio communication range depends on the hub model.
