How to change batteries in the MotionProtect

To change the battery:

1. Remove the detector from the SmartBracket attachment panel.

   

2. Switch off the device.

   

3. Loosen three screws and remove the front back of the detector.

   

4. Change the battery for a new one of type CR123A, observing the polarity. We recommend installing the following batteries to ensure that the Ajax device operates for the calculated time:

   • Panasonic CR123A Industrial Lithium Battery, 3 V (item model number — 4330203048, manufacturer — Indonesia).

   • Huiderui CR123A, 3 V, 1,600 mAh, LiMn02.

   If other batteries are installed, the operating time may differ from the calculated time.

   Do not install already used or damaged batteries.

5. Reattach the back panel of the detector and tighten the 3 screws.

6. Turn on the detector and check the battery status in the mobile application.

   The battery status do not update instantly, but within a ping period (by default, every 36 seconds).
