How to change the battery in SpaceControl

In order to replace the battery:

1. Separate the halves of the body with force, using a thin flat object.

   

2. Replace the CR2032 battery with a new one observing the correct polarity. We recommend installing the following batteries to ensure that the Ajax device operates for the calculated time:

   • Renata CR2032;

   • Panasonic CR2032 (BAT487).

   If other batteries are installed, the operating time may differ from the calculated time.

   

   Never install used or damaged batteries

3. Reassemble the key fob and test its operation by arming and disarming the security system.

4. Check the battery status in the Ajax app.

   The battery level status is not updated regularly but only after one of the key fob buttons is pressed.

   Keep new and used batteries away from children. Do not ingest battery, chemical burn hazard.
