Air Alert app users raised UAH 5.6 million as part of Mark Hamill’s fundraising campaign to buy the first of ten RQ-35 Heidrun mini UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles). The drone is named Dnipro because most in-app donations came on the day of a tragedy in Dnipro city on January 14, 2023.

RQ-35 Heidrun is a Danish-made drone. With this UAV, Ukrainian defenders will be able to scout enemy positions without putting themselves in danger. The RQ-35 Heidrun radio system is capable of resisting Russian electronic warfare.

The new drones will expand the reconnaissance potential of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, help save thousands of lives and punish the occupiers for shelling Ukrainian cities. Mark Hemill’s campaign is planning to raise donations for 10 drones. The fundraising is held via the UNITED24 platform.

The world’s first technological war is going on right now. And the one who adapts to the new conditions of warfare faster will gain the advantage. Drones have become one of the key technologies on the battlefield. They are the military’s «eyes»” that conduct scouting, help destroy the enemy and save the lives of Ukrainian defenders. The new drones will expand the intelligence capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and help identify targets for their further destruction. I am grateful to Mark Hamill for his support and everyone who donates to the Army of Drones.Mykhailo Fedorov, Vice Prime Minister,
Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine

We are thankful to the users of the Air Alert app who joined the fundraising and continue to donate actively. In less than a year, the app has become a tool to alert users about missile strikes and other threats and a platform to support our defenders. We want to thank our partners: the Stfalcon IT company, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, UNITED24, and Mark Hamill for their involvement and support.Valentine Hrytsenko, CMO at Ajax Systems

From December 2022, Air Alert users can donate directly to the Armed Forces of Ukraine through the app. All donations will be used to purchase drones for the Ukrainian military.

Ajax Systems developed the Air Alert app with Stfalcon and additional support from the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

The app has already been downloaded 14.5 million times. It has become a convenient and reliable information tool. Users get five notification types: air alert, artillery fire, street fighting, radiation and chemical hazards. The notifications in the English language version of the app were voiced by Mark Hamill, the UNITED24 platform ambassador.
