Automated radio signal survey reporting for EN54 Line

With the release of Ajax PRO Desktop 5.54, installers can have radio signal survey results for EN54 Line documented. Signal measurements are recorded in maintenance reports for each surveyed device. Detailed and exportable, the reports can then support system handover, complement compliance documentation, and help identify changes in radio performance during future service visits.

Clear reporting in a click

The new feature provides security professionals with an automated, error-proof way to record radio signal survey results and confirm the system's health. Once the survey is complete, an installer can generate a Maintenance report in Ajax PRO Desktop. Alongside a structured overview of the current system state, the document now includes measured radio signal strength (in dB) for every surveyed EN54 device.

The report can be downloaded as a PDF. It can complement project documentation and help installers at different stages of the system lifecycle.

Simplify system handover

When commissioning a facility, an installer can add the report to the project documentation. Its structured and comprehensive data provides the client and installer with clear evidence that the wireless network has been properly surveyed.

Track performance changes

During scheduled or troubleshooting service visits, an installer can use the initial report as a reference to identify changes in radio coverage. For example, drops in signal strength may indicate new obstacles or updates to the site layout, affecting radio range.
