Introducing audio scenarios for SpeakerPhone Jeweller

Ajax Systems is pleased to announce a new type of scenarios designed specifically for SpeakerPhone Jewelleraudio scenarios. SpeakerPhone Jeweller can now automatically play custom audio tracks in response to alarms, schedules, or security mode changes.

How an audio scenario works and when it can be used

An audio scenario automatically triggers the playback of a pre-uploaded audio track via SpeakerPhone Jeweller. When a selected event occurs, the system plays the assigned audio track without user interaction or operator involvement, providing a clear on-site audio alert. Instead of relying solely on sirens or mobile notifications, the system clearly explains what is happening through an audio message. Everyone within audible range receives the same information at the same time — whether it's a staff member, a user, a visitor, or an intruder.

How an audio scenario works and when it can be used

Audio scenarios can be used in a wide range of everyday situations. During an alarm, a spoken warning can deter intruders by clearly stating that the site is protected and a rapid response unit is on the way. When the site is being armed or disarmed, audio alerts announce system state changes out loud, helping reduce mistakes that often lead to false alarms. Scheduled audio messages, such as closing reminders, are particularly useful in retail facilities. For larger sites, different audio tracks can be assigned to specific areas, making it easier to manage restricted zones and guide people. In the event of any incident, audio scenarios ensure immediate awareness, even when users don't have access to smartphones or monitoring interfaces.

Configuring audio scenarios

Voice messages need to be recorded in advance, for example, via a smartphone's voice recorder, and then uploaded to the app. The audio track should be up to 15 seconds long, saved in WAV or MP3 format, and not exceed 6 MB.

Audio tracks can only be uploaded via Ajax PRO Desktop. One hub supports up to 10 audio tracks. Each audio track can be named in the app — for example, "Alarm voice message". Clear naming helps users quickly find and select the right audio track during scenario configuration.

Configuring audio scenarios

Audio scenarios are configured in the hub settings. A user or PRO with admin rights can set them up in any Ajax app by following this step-by-step guide. For each scenario, the selected audio track can be programmed to repeat from 1 to 10 times, depending on the required level of audibility and attention.

Availability

To access audio scenarios, users must update Ajax apps and the hub's OS Malevich operating system to the following or later versions:
