Leading security industry online portal announces top products after more than 1,800 security pros participate in online voting
Ajax Systems is pleased to announce that its wireless fire detector FireProtect 2 (Heat/Smoke/CO) was named the top Fire & Life Safety product, and its MotionCam Outdoor (PhOD) was named the top Intrusion Detection and Perimeter Security product in the SecurityInfoWatch.com Readers’ Choice Product Awards in the US.
The SecurityInfoWatch Readers’ Choice Awards recognize the most impactful products introduced in the physical security industry over the past year in 15 different categories. The program is judged and decided by the very people who use and install these products every day. In all, more than 1,800 security professionals participated in the 2023 voting.
These are our very first awards from the American professional security community. We are happy to witness the warm reception of Ajax’s disruptive technologies and innovations within the US market. Our team is doing enormous work adapting the product to the needs and demands of this focus region, as well as making the system compilable with the local standards. FireProtect 2 is the next generation of Ajax fire detectors, providing a new level of technology in fire safety. The detectors’ unique smoke chamber does not require regular cleaning, the dual-spectrum sensor distinguishes smoke from steam, the thermistor quickly reacts to the synthetic materials burning, and sophisticated software minimizes false alarms. The detector can operate autonomously or as a part of the Ajax system, communicating with the hub via the Jeweller radio protocol (up to 1700 m).
MotionCam Outdoor (PhOD) is a wireless outdoor motion detector that takes photos by alarm, on demand and by schedule. Instant and accurate intrusion detection, ultra-low power consumption, clear photos in all weathers, day and night — everything to deliver pro-grade outdoor security. With visual evidence available in Ajax apps, the security company can quickly check whether the threat is real to respond accordingly. Photo verification relieves users of unnecessary anxiety and security companies of false patrol calls.

This is the fourth award for Ajax Systems won in 2023.
