FAQ

How to hide objects list from installers working in the Ajax PRO mobile app?

Company owners and heads of installers of the service and installation companies have an ability to hide objects list from installers, who are working in the company account in the Ajax PRO mobile app. This can make the installer’s job easier and reduce the risk of changing the settings of the wrong object.

To hide the list of objects:

  1. Open the Ajax PRO Desktop app.

  2. Switch to the company account.

  3. Go to the Company module and open Service settings.

  4. Enable the Search objects in mobile app by full hub ID toggle.

After enabling the Search objects in mobile app by full hub ID feature, installers have to enter the full hub ID in the searching field of the Ajax PRO mobile app to see a specific object with a particular hub.

How to create a slide show in the PRO Desktop video wall?

PRO Desktop allows you to configure video looping from required cameras. It helps you continuously monitor the situation at the site without manually switching the layouts or channels.

To create a slide show, in PRO Desktop:

  1. Go to the Video wall VideoWall-M tab.

  2. Enable the Open Video wall widget toggle.

  3. Select at least one display if you have more than one.

  4. Click the slide show icon ProDesktopBlack-M.

  5. Click the Create slideshow button.

  6. Edit a title and click the Add cameras button.

  7. Select a layout and required channels.

  8. Click Apply, then click Create.

The added slide shows will be available by clicking the corresponding icon ProDesktopBlack-M. You can start, pause, and edit them.

How to store the channel timestamp in an archive?

PRO Desktop allows you to fix the last timestamp (the point where you stopped seeking) for all cameras. Thus, you can easily find the desired event on different cameras.

When a user focuses on an appropriate timestamp, the system stores this position for 10 minutes and applies the stored timestamp to all channel archives a user opened during these 10 minutes.

The feature is available when cameras or Ajax NVR have a storage device and a user has appropriate privacy permission.
