How to download videos from the archive in Ajax apps

Ajax apps allow companies and users to download segments of video recordings from the archive¹ to their smartphones or PCs. Users can select a required range and download a file with corresponding video settings.

The download is available only for events when an Ajax camera or NVR detects motion or a specific object, the video scenario is executed, or a permanent record is carried out. If the camera is offline or there are no events, it is impossible to download a video.

¹ Only companies and users with permission to view the archive have access to this feature.

The Ajax digital signature is added to all video recordings exported from Ajax video devices with the following firmware versions:

Video device

Firmware

NVR

2.244 or later

BulletCam
DomeCam Mini
TurretCam

2.309 or later

IndoorCam

2.279 or later

DoorBell

2.228 or later

The Ajax digital signature is required to verify whether the video recording is original or it was modified. To verify the authenticity of the downloaded video recordings, use the Ajax media player software.
