How to create Space

Space is a virtual entity where various autonomous devices are gathered on the same physical object. To create Space, the user does not need an Ajax hub. Devices are added to the system according to the needs of the facility.

The Ajax system allows you to add devices with Internet access directly to Space. You can add to Space devices with the hub and without it. If the hub is available in Space, you can add all Ajax devices compatible with the central panel to the system.

With the Ajax hub:

• intrusion protection devices;

• fire detection devices;

• water leak prevention devices;

• automation devices.

Without the Ajax hub:

• Ajax NVR video recorder;

• Ajax cameras or third-party cameras.

  

How to create Space

To create the first Space:

1. Install the Ajax app.

2. Create an account if you don’t have one.

3. Click Add Space.

4. Name Space. Press Add.

   

5. Add devices to Space.

To add Space if Space is already added to the system:

1. Open the Ajax app.

2. Go to the main menu by clicking the icon in the upper left corner.

   

3. Click Add Space.

4. Name Space. Click Add. The name of Space will appear in the list.

5. Add devices to Space.

How to delete Space

To delete Space, in the Ajax apps:

1. Go to the Space settings by clicking on the on the Control tab.

   

2. Click Space Deletion.
