How to export video in PRO Desktop

PRO Desktop allows users and companies to export segments of video recordings from the archive. Users can select a required range and download a file with corresponding video settings.

Export is available only for events when an Ajax camera or NVR detects motion or a specific object, the video scenario executes, or a permanent record is carried out. If the camera is offline or there are no events, the export is impossible.

To download the video segment, in PRO Desktop:

  1. Select an Ajax hub from the list.

  2. Select an Ajax camera or NVR from the list.

  3. Go to the video stream by clicking on the Stream-M icon.

  4. Go to the archive by clicking on the Archive-M icon.

  5. Find the required video segment, put the cursor on it, and click on the Download-M icon.

  6. Drag and change the selected segment for export.

  7. Configure the video quality and audio by switching corresponding toggles.

  8. Click on the Request File button.

After that, the system starts preparing the video segment for downloading. The user receives a corresponding notification as soon as the file is ready. You can download the video to the selected folder by clicking on the VideoSelect-M icon. If different video or audio settings are configured in the requested video segment, it is split into several files. They will be available for 24 hours.
