Fifteen students joined the program. The company’s leading engineers acted as mentors and supported participants at all stages of project development.

The Hardware Engineering internship, as a part of the Ajax Next initiative, is an investment in the future of the industry. It's a win-win-win situation: students gain a unique experience, the university improves the quality of practical training, and we get the opportunity to grow talented specialists ready for the modern engineering challenges.

Head of Recruitment at Ajax Systems

The Hardware Engineering program consists of three stages. The students are currently completing the first part of their internship, during which they studied the structure of microcontrollers and the concept of microcontroller-based devices, and explored development tools using modern models as examples. The participants have also started working on their own projects, including the creation of a rangefinder, alarm clock, bicycle speedometer, smart lamp, and more.

The program provides students with a unique opportunity to learn more about hardware and immediately apply their knowledge in practice. The main tasks include designing devices of various levels of complexity. This helps young specialists better understand their future profession and form a more conscious attitude towards their future. Having a portfolio with their own projects provides an excellent starting point for an engineering career.

During the second stage of the program, students will continue developing their projects by implementing new functionalities, providing autonomous power, and optimizing energy consumption.

The final part of the internship involves conducting research, where all project ideas undergo testing, experimental verification, signal processing, and more.

The Hardware Internship is the second internship conducted by the company as part of the Ajax Next initiative. The first program in Mechanical Engineering took place at the Faculty of Instrumentation Engineering of the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”, where the company also equipped a laboratory with all the necessary tools.
