Introducing Ajax Response, an app for incident handling by rapid response units

Every alarm starts the same way: a CMS operator receives an event, contacts a response unit, explains what happened, shares the address, provides access instructions, and waits for updates from the field. These conversations often take longer than they should, delaying the response before the vehicle even starts moving.

The Ajax Response app replaces these manual steps with a single synchronized workflow integrated with Ajax PRO Desktop. Dispatches, incident details, status updates, and reports are all handled in the app, without the need to contact the operator.

Response begins in Ajax PRO Desktop. As soon as an alarm reaches the monitoring station, the operator can see all rapid response units (RRUs) and their current availability status. This makes it easy to select the right team without calling responders to check who is ready to take the dispatch. Default and backup teams can also be assigned to each site in advance, further speeding up incident handling.

As soon as the CMS operator assigns the incident to the response team, the dispatch arrives as a critical push notification in Ajax Response. Responders don't need to answer a phone call or switch between communication apps to accept the dispatch and act on it.

Once the dispatch is accepted, the RRU has everything they need to head to the site. The app provides the facility address and coordinates, and a single tap opens the preferred navigation app with the destination already set. On the way, the team can review the complete site profile, including alarm details, access information, notes, photos, and floor plans.

While the response team handles the incident, the CMS operator sees the current status without having to contact them or update it manually. Every status change is synchronized automatically and stored in the incident timeline.

After the site is inspected and the issue is resolved, the RRU needs just a few taps to complete the incident report. They simply select a predefined outcome or enter a custom reason in the app. The report is instantly saved and synchronized with Ajax PRO Desktop.

In exceptional situations where manual coordination is required, operators can log a dispatch in Ajax PRO Desktop, even if it was delivered by phone, messenger, or another channel. This ensures every incident remains accurately tracked and fully documented.

Enterprise-grade access control

Like every Ajax product, Ajax Response is built with security at its core. Each RRU device is linked to the company using a unique code. If an RRU device is lost, stolen, or reassigned, its access can be revoked instantly via Ajax PRO Desktop, ensuring that only authorized response teams can access sensitive information.
