New features for LockBridge (D) Jeweller

New features for LockBridge (D) Jeweller

As part of the strategic partnership with Yale, Ajax Systems introduces a major update for LockBridge (D) Jeweller — the integration module that connects compatible Yale smart locks to the Ajax ecosystem. The latest update expands access management capabilities, adds new operating modes, introduces new automation options, and more.

What's new

Advanced access rights management

System admins and/or privacy managers can now define which users and PRO accounts are permitted to control the smart lock in Ajax apps. As for the monitoring companies, control rights can remain either always enabled/disabled, or be linked to alarms – allowing lock control after alarm only and for a specified period.

Secure mode

The new Secure mode provides an extra layer of protection against unauthorized entry. It prevents door unlocking from either the inside or the outside, depending on how the mode is activated. For example, if Secure mode is enabled from the outside, the door cannot be opened from the inside, and vice versa. What's more, access codes are disabled in Secure mode — control remains available only via the Ajax app or Yale cards and tags.

Users can always verify whether Secure mode is active in Ajax apps or learn about lock mode changes via instant push notifications.

Door left open notifications

If the door is not fully closed, the system sends a push notification in Ajax apps. In the LockBridge (D) Jeweller settings, users can specify a delay after which the system notifies them of an open door.

Night mode in scenarios

Smart lock can now respond to not only arming and disarming but also Night mode. With this update, the system admin can set specific lock reactions to be triggered by this mode, making routine automation even more flexible.

Chime support

Yale smart locks now support a Chime feature. It turns a smart lock and an Ajax siren into a modern shopkeeper's bell. When the system is disarmed, the siren plays a short sound each time the door opens or when the doorbell1 button is pressed. System admins can adjust the alert volume and assign different sound patterns to separate entrances, making it easy to identify whether the front or back door has been opened.

Temporary smart lock deactivation

Yale smart locks can now be temporarily deactivated but remain in the system. This way, the lock ignores system commands and does not participate in automation scenarios. The feature is particularly useful during maintenance.

Support for more Yale anti-sabotage features

The integration now supports a smart lock tamper alarm. It is triggered if someone attempts to dismantle the lock and instantly notifies users of a potential intrusion.
