About the product

Evolve Xtender POD is a self-contained rapidly deployable intrusion alarm system. It was designed to meet the growing demand for securing sites without the connection to mains and thus no conditions for the correct implementation of surveillance equipment. The POD can help secure machinery rental companies, construction or security companies, open event locations, and other businesses whose areas are vulnerable to theft, vandalism, or intrusion. It comes in versions for indoor and outdoor use.

Evolve Xtender POD is equipped to operate 24/7 and ensure high-level security at off-the-grid sites. The outdoor version of the POD is powered by four 30 W solar panels on each side of the device and has a backup battery, while the indoor model’s power comes from a 12 V battery (36 Ah). The key power consumer of the POD is Hub 2 Jeweller, which is connected to an external battery using 12-24 V PSU (type A). If the external power supply fails, the hub switches to a built-in battery and continues to protect the site for up to 16 hours or even 60 hours if the Battery Power Saver feature is enabled. A client and ARC instantly receive an informative in-app notification about the power issue to be fixed. The security company has enough time to get to the site to restore power without compromising its security.

Other elements of the security system are wireless outdoor Ajax devices that operate with pre-installed batteries for up to 3 years. Four MotionCam Outdoor Jeweller devices offer 360° coverage of the perimeter and detect movement within seconds. The device’s photo-by-alarm feature allows minimizing expensive patrol dispatches to false alarms and gives the client peace of mind. Located at the top of Evolve Xtender POD, StreetSiren Jeweller activates the sound of up to 113 dB and bright LED indicators in response to an alarm to deter and expose intruders.

All the devices are built in a mobile tower that can be rapidly deployed by one person. The POD has a maximum total weight of 34 kg, while the casing is made out of acrylic ABS (4 mm). The devices that the casing holds are either weather-resistant or reliably hidden in the enclosure to withstand the impacts of the environment. Also, the enclosure is elevated to act as an effective visual deterrent.
