What is NFA2P
NFA2P is a French certification for electronic security equipment, jointly established by CNPP Cert․ and AFNOR Certification. It combines the NF (Norme Française) and A2P (Alarme Protection Prévention) certification schemes and is recognized by the security and insurance industries. The certification covers both wired and wireless devices and is often required by French insurance companies to reduce the risks associated with theft and property damage.
NFA2P has different security levels for devices indicated by a number of shields. The Ajax product portfolio includes devices certified to both the 2-shield and 3-shield security levels. The 2-shield level corresponds to Grade 2 and is intended for low- to medium-risk sites, such as residential properties and small businesses.
