Ajax Systems has selected 60 students to attend CES 2027

Ajax Systems has revealed the results of its selection process for students who will travel to Las Vegas in January 2027 to attend the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). This year, the company is taking 60 students to CES — twice as many as last year. As the project scales, student interest continues to rise, with more than 1,000 applications submitted. The full list of selected participants is available on the project page here.

This year, the initiative attracted students from 77 universities across 25 Ukrainian cities. Applicants represented 34 different fields of study. The largest number of applications came from students studying computer science, software engineering, cybersecurity, electronics, instrumentation and radio engineering, as well as computer engineering.

The applications were evaluated by independent academic experts from leading Ukrainian universities. They considered applicants' academic performance, technical and research projects, extracurricular activities, and motivation. The high level of competition was reflected in the numbers: 52% of applicants had an average academic score above 90 out of 100.

The most important thing is not just to show young people world-class technology, but to prove that they can create it themselves. That is why, for the second year in a row, we are taking Ukrainian students to CES — doubling last year's cohort. We received more than 1,000 applications and selected 60 participants — young people who already have the ambition to change the world. We want this trip to become a starting point for new ideas, inventions, and ambitious engineering goals. We will continue creating opportunities that inspire Ukrainian youth to grow, surpass previous generations, and build the future.

CES 2027 will take place in Las Vegas, USA, from January 6 to 9. Participants will explore booths from leading global technology companies, discover the latest innovations, and connect with industry experts to discuss their own ideas.

The initiative is part of Ajax Next, an educational ecosystem advancing engineering education in Ukraine. The project is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Startup Fund, and leading Ukrainian universities.
