29 Ukrainian students of technical specialties attended Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026, one of the world's largest tech events, held in Las Vegas, USA. The project was implemented as part of the Ajax Next educational initiative by Ajax Systems to support a new generation of inventors and the development of engineering education in Ukraine.
During the exhibition, students attended key technological discussions with leaders from Siemens, NVIDIA, AMD, Lenovo, and other companies, and also explored new products and solutions at the stands of global manufacturers. The most interesting technologies of this year's exhibition are presented in a separate list compiled by students.
The trip to CES provided students not only with inspiration but also a practical understanding of world-class technologies, new professional benchmarks, and confidence that their ideas can be turned into real solutions. Our talented young people are inspired to think boldly, develop, and move the industry forward through such opportunities. We sincerely thank the CES team for their openness and support, and the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine for their help in organizing the trip.
The participants shared their impressions in their own reportages. Maria Tokhtamysh described the first official day at the exhibition, Ilona Keno explored the future of the game development industry and the development of digital immersion technologies, and Ivan Zahorulko revealed how CES trends shape the demand for new engineering education worldwide and in Ukraine.
The students also took part in the opening of the Ukrainian pavilion and discussed the future of innovation with Gary Shapiro, Executive Chair and CEO at Consumer Technology Association (CTA)®.
CES is about the future built by the next generation of engineers and innovators. Initiatives like Ajax Systems’ educational trip open doors, giving talented students exposure to global ideas, cutting-edge technologies, and the people shaping what comes next. Meeting young engineers, especially those coming from Ukraine, is a powerful reminder that innovation knows no borders. Their curiosity, resilience, and ambition show why CES is important to spark ideas and drive progress.
The project is part of the Ajax Next initiative, which aims to cultivate engineering education in Ukraine and is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, and IEEE Ukraine. The initiative collaborates with the leading higher education institutions such as Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Kyiv Aviation Institute, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Lviv Polytechnic National University, and National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
