How can the loop (zone) number of the detector or Ajax device be determined

The loop (zone) number is required to describe all devices connected to the hub when adding a protected facility to the security company monitoring station.

The number is assigned when adding a device to the hub. The first added device has the first loop (zone) number. After removing the device from the system, its number becomes available. This number can be assigned to the next device to be added to the system.

How does Ajax Superior SpaceControl Jeweller differ from Ajax SpaceControl Jeweller?

The main difference between Ajax Superior SpaceControl Jeweller and Ajax SpaceControl Jeweller is the protection rating of the device in accordance with the IEC 60529 standard.

Ajax Superior SpaceControl Jeweller has an IP32 protection rating. This means that the Ajax Superior SpaceControl Jeweller enclosure protects the device from solid particles larger than 2.5 mm and water droplets falling on the device at an angle of up to 15°.

Ajax SpaceControl Jeweller has an IP50 protection rating. Its enclosure partially protects the device from dust particles and does not protect it from water ingress.

How to increase the key fob range?

Without obstacles, the communication range between the hub and the device is up to 1,300 meters.

If key fob commands are not delivered to the security system, relocate the hub to minimize obstacles between the hub and the key fob.
