About the product

RapiDetect is a wireless solar-powered portable security pod. It is designed for construction sites, farms, remote facilities, vehicle storage areas, and other outdoor locations requiring temporary or quick security deployment where running power cables is impractical. Operating independently thanks to four solar panels, RapiDetect can be rapidly deployed by a single person. Furthermore, the pod offers customization options, allowing security companies or end users to have the product wrapped in branding of their choice.

RapiDetect can integrate with the Hub 2 (2G) Jeweller, Hub 2 Plus Jeweller, or Hub 2 (4G) Jeweller devices. Securely housed inside, the hub manages all connected Ajax devices. In case of interference at the operating frequencies or attempted jamming, the hub switches to another radio frequency and sends notifications to the CMS and system users via Ajax apps. The hub enables the installation of additional Ajax devices across the site, allowing for comprehensive protection of multiple buildings and entrances. Autonomous operation is provided by an external battery charged by solar panels and connected to the hub via the 12—24V PSU for Hub/Hub Plus/ReX power supply unit.

RapiDetect has four MotionCam Outdoor (PhOD) Jeweller detectors, one on each side, providing 360-degree intrusion detection coverage. Upon detecting an intrusion, the detectors automatically take a series of photos for quick assessment and alarm verification within Ajax apps or third-party monitoring software. The detectors do not react to animals up to 80 cm tall, significantly reducing false alarms. Also, users can request real-time photos via the Ajax app for situational awareness. MotionCam Outdoor (PhOD) Jeweller also takes photos by schedule or when other Ajax devices at the facility trigger an alarm. The devices feature an anti-masking system that notifies users and security companies if the view becomes obstructed.

Mounted atop RapiDetect is StreetSiren Jeweller, a 113 dB siren that activates when intrusion is detected. Within 1 second, its buzzer and LED frame turn on, deterring intruders by making them aware that their presence has been detected and authorities have already been alerted. The siren is housed in an IP54 dust/water-resistant hermetically sealed enclosure.
